Big Brother 2011 - 2nd Eviction Recap

On Friday we had the 2^nd Big Brother 2011 eviction.  First to go had been Tashi and the housemates up last week were Heaven and Rebeckah.  I really wanted Rebeckah to go but Heaven just grates on my nerves like anything.

Anyway Brian announced the name to the crowd using red and blue corners which I thought was a bit stupid.  I mean sure they fight with each other but it was really dumb to do that.  The crowd seems to dislike both of them.  After that whole thing we got to see a recap of the last 24 hours in the house.

So after the whole recap thing which wasn’t all that interesting we finally get to the eviction.  The crowd seriously booed Rebeckah when Brian said their names.  Okay so they booed Heaven as well but not as much.  I think the crowd was chanting ‘get Rebeckah out’ but I can’t be sure.

We now got to see the videos that the housemates recorded as a bid to get last minute votes.  They were equally bad.  Heaven said that she can be stronger and that she gives the housemates positivity.  Rebeckah didn’t want to be evicted and feels that she deserves to stay.  She said she has been herself, honest and straight and that she will miss Aden.  She also said if she stays in the house there will be good times ahead.

I don’t know what it is but Brian was really grating on me during the eviction show.  Maybe I’m just missing Davina.  She at least made this a lot more fun.  Brian now spoke to the house and the person with the fewest votes will now be announced.  

The second housemate to leave Big Brother 2011 is Rebeckah!  She now has to stay in the house until after The Bachelor.

When Rebeckah came out she wasn’t all emotional which was a pleasant change to Tashi who attempted to cry.  The song played for her was Maneater.  Ironic since she said that she was going to tease the boys in there.

During her interview she told Brian that she was honest and truthful in the house.  No she wasn’t we say her lie to Jay.  Brian asked her why she thinks the public saved Heaven and not her.  She said that Heaven provides more in the house meaning she is a lunatic and if Rebeckah was a member of the public she would also want to keep her in the house.  When asked who she thinks nominated her she basically got it spot on.

She was a bit shocked when she saw that Anton had nominated her.  The reason?  She thought he would never do that to Aden.  I can’t believe that she admitted that she sometimes wants to kill Mark.  She feels that Heaven did not nominate her as part of a game plan.  The plan being that she would look like the better person if she didn’t.

She finally admitted that she did tell Jay about the food thing but only after they showed her the clip.  She then went on to say that her eating with Heaven and her telling Jay were actually an hour apart and Aden had told her that Heaven was eating everything because he was in the storeroom cleaning up.  I think that’s a lie.

When they showed her clips from what she had been doing with Aden I feel she looked a bit shocked.  Maybe she didn’t realise how what she was doing looked to the public?  Maybe she didn’t realise she was being hot and cold with him?  Who knows?  Anyway she did admit that she did once fancy Mark but not as much as Aden.  Of course she wants Aden to win big surprise there!

We then get to see the message she left for the house.  It was mainly for Aden, surprise surprise.  She said that she’s going to miss him and see him when they are both out.  She said to watch out for Anton because he’s a snake.  Heaven is an actress but Harry is cool so stick with him.  He should also stick with Maisy because she’s a good girl and they could be good mates.  The others housemates pale into insignificance.  He should also stay true and she will see him soon. 

I actually thought that was a good message to leave.  You really don’t want those I love you all and miss you things that Tashi did.  She at least got a last dig in and helped out one of the other housemates.  Heaven annoyed me during the video with her talking.  Personally I think she annoyed everyone.  If Heaven doesn’t get immunity she will probably be up again next week.

So that was the 2^nd eviction.  The next nominations will take place on Monday but we only see them on Tuesday so let’s see what happens.

Big Brother 2011 - 2nd Nomination Show Recap

Yesterday was the second nomination show.  Luckily Harry has immunity from the nominations as he won a chicken task where he had to eat lots of popcorn.  I’m happy about this because I really like Harry.  Anyway on to the nominations.  

Aaron

1^st nomination was Heaven.  The reason was the whole argument she had with Rebeckah in the bedroom the night before.

2^nd nomination was Rebeckah.  She spread a rumour about Heaven eating all the chocolate and while he doesn’t care about that it’s just not on to say that about people.  

Aden

1^st nomination was Heaven.  He said that she creates tension and is an instigator.  He also said that he feels like he has to ask her permission when he wants to eat.

2^nd nomination was Tom.  The reason was the argument last night that he made some cutting statements even though he didn’t really know what was going on.

Alex

1^st nomination was Heaven.  Apparently she has this negative energy thing that says to people.  That leaves people unsettled and she doesn’t like that.

2^nd nomination was Maisy.  The reason was that she doesn’t understand her humour.

Anton

1^st nomination was Heaven.  The reason is that she creates tension in the house.

2^nd nomination was Rebeckah.  The reason was that she says things that create arguments.

Faye

1^st nomination was Heaven.  The reason was that the argument that Heaven had with Rebeckah could have been handled better and that she felt awkward about it.  It was made that she had to choose a side.

2^nd nomination was Rebeckah.  She said it takes two people to argue and they both made her awkward.

Harry

1^st nomination was Rebeckah.  He doesn’t like her and they don’t get on.  She also causes trouble in the house, is two faced and is leading Aden on.

2^nd nomination was Aden.  He is young but needs to grow up as he is immature.  He’s letting Rebeckah lead him on and needs to wake up and smell the coffee.

Tom

1^st nomination was Rebeckah.  She’s doing some shady stuff and has been making Heaven into the bad person when she isn’t. 

2^nd nomination was Maisy.  She doesn’t help with any of the cooking or cleaning and that isn’t fair to the other housemates.

Louise

1^st nomination was Maisy.  The reason was that she doesn’t make sense and it feels like she is watching her.  The watching is making her feel uncomfortable.

2^nd nomination was Rebeckah.  She said bad things to people in the house and that is not right.

Heaven

1^st nomination was Faye.  The reason was that since the argument with Rebeckah Faye doesn’t seem to want to be her friend anymore.

2^nd nomination was Jay.  The reason was that he went and told the boys that she was eating the chocolate and this caused problems.

Mark

1^st nomination was Rebeckah.  The reason was that half the time she’s fun to be around and the other half she seems to want to kill him.  She’s nice to look at but he doesn’t want to live with her.

2^nd nomination was Maisy.  The reason was that he feels uncomfortable around her and that he still doesn’t know much about her.

Jay

1^st nomination was Rebeckah.  The reason was that she told him Heaven was eating the chocolate and then said she didn’t.  That she put him in an awkward position when she brought it up again.

2^nd nomination was Heaven.  She also brought up the chocolate thing and put him on the spot.  He doesn’t like being put in awkward positions.

Maisy

1^st nomination was Alex.  She just feels awkward around her.

2^nd nomination was Mark.  She said she doesn’t feel a connection with him, that there is a distance between them and that he doesn’t like her.

Rebeckah

1^st nomination was Jay.  The reason was that he caused trouble between Heaven and her.  He also changed something that she had said to him.

2^nd nomination was Heaven.  Even though they had made up she feels there wasn’t anything to fall out over.  Also the treatment she got last night hurt her and Heaven was nasty and upset her.

So that was the nominations.  Some of them just left me speechless.  Okay so it was mainly Rebeckah and Heaven who left me speechless.  Went Heaven nominated Jay I was like that is s not what happened.  Rebeckah also seems to have some delusions about what went on the night before.  She did tell Jay that Heaven was eating the chocolate.  We have it on film!

The reaction of the housemates was a bit of a let-down.  Rebeckah was named first and she just sat there.  Heaven was then all it’s her and that she knew she was going to be up.

So now we get to vote to save either Heaven or Rebeckah.  I don’t care for either but want Rebeckah to go just because she put Jay on the spot and to see what Aden will do without her there.

Big Brother 2011 - The Live Launch Recap

Last night was the live launch of Channel 5’s Big Brother 2011.  It was tipped to be the sexiest yet but I’m not so sure.  Anyway Pamela Anderson was in the house watching all the housemates go in.  At this point I had no idea what her part in this would be and I still only have a vague idea.  Anyway let’s get to the housemates.

The first housemate is Mark!  I couldn’t be bothered to remember their last names as it is unimportant.  Anyway Mark is an idiot or so say his friends.  He also says that he looks like a flamingo when naked.  How is that sexy?  He also loves animals.  He seems a bit meh to me and I feel he could easily become annoying.  He has zero concentration level and seems to have a hard time getting what Brian is saying.  Something that is a bit weird about him is that he has a phobia of egg whites.

The second housemate in is Maisy!  I didn’t know people called their kids Maisy anymore.  She wants to be an actress or TV presenter.  She seems a bit fickle because she said that she goes from guy to guy even if she is with someone.  Seems to be an attention whore to me.  When she came out the crowd was booing her.  She says that she lives for the moment, cliché much? She thought she was the first in but the Mark pops up and is all hi there’s an egg shaped bath.  They didn’t change the house much from the celebs.

Third into the house is Aaron!  Arrogant and single by his own admission.  He said he’s not a numbers guy when it comes to women which I doubt.  He says that his way is right and he becomes upset easily.  It’s a 50/50 thing about whether you like him or not.  When he came out I laughed because he had this funny walk/swagger thing going that looked ridiculous!  The crowd had a mixed reaction to him.

The fourth housemate is Heaven!  She’s a model, dancer, blah blah.  I have a feeling she may go early but that is just my first impression, she may become better.  She has a problem with fake people and noses.  She says that fake people have no substance and no soul.  She is honest to people and they should not mess with her food.  The girl eats 8 meals a day!  Is that healthy?  She also got a mixed reaction from the crowd.  She has the most annoying laugh ever and took way too long to get into the house.  Also I would like to state that she has fake hair extensions in and took some into the house with her.  Double standards with the fake thing then.

Housemate number 5 is Tom!  He is a sales assistant and kind of cute.  He doesn’t like fat girls and is bisexual.  He seems a bit weird that could be good.  I couldn’t help but wonder what the heck he was wearing when he came out.  It was like a mesh top with shorts.  When he got into the house he didn’t stop talking.  I just noticed that Mark hugs a lot.

 

The sixth housemate is Tashi!  She does belly dancing and thinks this is the best way to use the body.  She is loud, out there and a bit too much for me.  She peaks 5 languages and doesn’t drink alcohol.  Loves giving advice and is confident.  I’m not so sure about her but the crowd is cheering.  I’m doubting the 5 language thing because she had to think about what languages she speaks when Brian asked her.  Brian also said she was slippery, not sure what that means.

Housemate number 7 is Aden!  He sleeps with a teddy.  He says that he has the ability to realise who the true people are because he has a degree in psychology.  He seems to be a player and that annoys me but may be fun to watch.  He came out being very gangster and I don’t see why.  He wants a drink as soon as he got into the house.

Housemate number 8 is Alex!  She’s only 19 but I have to say she looks older.  She sees why people compare her to Barbie and so can I.  She says that she works at the front of the McDonalds where she takes orders and does nothing else.  So in other words she’s a cashier.  She would not describe herself as marmite but then I don’t know anyone who would.  She wants to proof that not all blondes are stupid but I have a hard time believing she’s up to the task.  When she came out I thought she is orange!  She also took too long to get into the house and was making weird noises when she got in.

The 9^th housemate is Harry!  He is so posh.  He believes that money makes the world go round and wants to be a millionaire by 25.  He lives in the country and goes fox hunting.  How horrible is that!  Poor foxes.  He’s bisexual but has a girlfriend and would not mind a romance.  The crowd booed him when he came out.  He runs a milkshake company and you know his parents helped him.  He also wants to be a gay icon but I always thought you had to be gay for that.  He also has no sense of smell and owns 15 horses.  He hugged Mark and asked what is your name sir?  Who speaks like that?

Housemate number 10 is Rebeckah!  Not sure what she does for a living but I think she’s an escort.  Anyway she runs a dance school for the under privileged.  The majority of her anger comes from men which should make being stuck with 7 men in a house for 2 months fun.  She wants to spice things up by teasing the boys.  She is very giggly and started crying when she got into the house.  It seems like Mark and Heaven have become the welcoming committee. 

The 11^th housemate is Anton!  He thinks he’s hunky but I’m not seeing it.  He said he was here for the people but he’s not going to do anything for the people if he wins.  He was part of the gang culture but went to private schools.  Says this allows him to talk to anyone from gang people to Stephen Fry.  He was the coolest coming out so far but did these uh huh noises that annoy me.  He took tobacco into the house even though he doesn’t smoke.  Bribe currency anyone?  He didn’t want the hug Mark gave him.  

Housemate number 12 is Faye!  She does not have a nice body no matter what she says.  Any girls that annoy her she will attack.  I’m wondering if this is going to lead to a cat fight in the house.  She looks a lot better when she is fully clothed.  She said that she was there to have fun.  Change her tune a bit there after facing the crowd.  Brian asked if she brought her alter ego and she said we’ll have to wait and see.  I have to admit that she is prettier than the other girls in the house so far.  The boys are checking her out.  I have to ask if she did say she’s from London, Midlands?

The 13^th housemate is Jay!  He is a plumber, barber and fitness instructor.  How does he do all those things?  Anyway he is a Geordie through and through.  I had a really hard time understanding him.  He also speaks Geordie lingo which I do not understand at all.  At least Brian didn’t understand either.  He says he wants to do Newcastle proud and that the eagle has landed.  Not sure what that means.  He actually creeps me out a bit.  I am starting to like Mark more with each housemate that goes in.

The last housemate and number 14 is Louise!  She is a model but says she is not your typical model.  She watches intellectual TV shows like Bargain Hunt.  No offense to Bargain Hunt but I don’t think it counts as intellectual TV.  She would rather marry a chef than a footballer.  Boys don’t come up to her but she is normal and will not bite.  She says a man wanted to marry her if she got elocution lessons but she wouldn’t.  I’m wondering if she knows what elocution lessons are.  She is so stupid and a bit slow.  She wanted to join the army but we don’t know why she didn’t.

So all the housemate are inside now and they still don’t know that Pamela is lurking around.  The gates blocking the garden start to open and everyone screams when they see Pamela out there.  I have to say that Pamela does a fair amount of screaming herself.  I can’t really make out what all the people are saying because they are all kind of talking at the same time.  That is where it ends.  Still don’t know why Pamela is there and what her point is.  

Well the first eviction will be next Friday.  Don’t know how nominations will be done and if they have anything to do with Pamela.  There’s no-one really good looking or exciting.  I was hoping to have another Bobby to look at since this was supposed to be the sexiest house ever.
