Celebrity Big Brother - The Final

So last night was the Celebrity Big Brother finale.  I was actually looking forward to this not only because we get to find out who wins but because these housemates are a bit boring and I wasn’t the attention seeking public in the house.  Anyway the lines were open for a few minutes at the beginning of the show while we see highlights.

The highlights were of their last meal together as housemates.  It’s a nice set up but Big Brother gave them oysters.  Not everyone eats oysters in fact Jedward make a fuss about the fact that they have never had them before.  As you can tell I don’t like oysters.  Anyway Kerry was going on about how she was going to cry.  I couldn’t help but think: ‘How is this any different than any other time?’  I swear that woman cries about everything.  

Jedward were then given awards to give out to the other housemates.  I don’t know if we got to see all the awards or just a few.  The awards we did see were best couple (Amy and Lucien), funniest (Paddy), best housemate (Bobby) and most annoying (Jedward).

Well now it was time for the first person to leave the house.  When Brian spoke to the house the crowd wasn’t really on the ball at all.  They usually boo people but they made some half committed cheer boo thing or they were chanting.  

So the first person out of the house is Bobby!  Can’t say I’m that surprised.  No-one seemed to like him even though I was voting for him.  The phone lines were then reopened.  I thought that was a bit of a money making plot by Channel 5.  Oh well not much I can do about it.

Now it was Bobby’s interview.  I was looking forward to this because he was so cool when he came out.  On a side note the crowd was cheering for him then when they hated him all the time!  Fickle!  Bobby said it was good to be back in the real world and that he loved facing the crowd.  Brian said we all assumed he would have a romance in the house but Bobby said that he couldn’t compete with his mate Lucien for a girl (Amy).  Then we got onto sweat-gate.  Bobby said that Darryn was a bully and he didn’t like him during the first week but he did feel remorse about what he did.  On a side note Brian will not let the man speak!  Hello it’s an interview with him so let the man finish.  It’s not the Brian Dowling show!  Bobby wants Jedward or Paddy to win!

Now it was time for the next eviction.  The next evicted housemate is Darryn!  Boy, he did not seem impressed by this.  I honestly think he thought he could win this.  The crowd again is cheering even though they booed earlier for him.

Brian said he was excited about the interview with Darryn.  Why?  Anyway Darryn said his life is a rollercoaster.  He also said he didn’t see himself reaching the finale.  No one is going to say that they saw themselves there.  He also thinks that it was the fact that he has his own opinion that had him nominated so often.  He said that he was himself in the house.  If that’s what he’s usually like then I don’t want to know him.  He said that the house needs calm and peace which I thought was a bit rich coming from the main instigator of the house.  I kind of stopped listening to the interview after that.

The next person out of the house is Lucien!  Lucien annoyed the hell out of me in the house flitting from one girl to the next.  Everyone said he was good looking but I never say it.  

So Lucien said that he was scared of being booed by the crowd.  To me this says that he knew what he was doing in that house.  Brian asked if no lady was safe and that Lucien flitted from Pamela to Kerry to Amy to Kerry to Amy.  Lucien said it was a bit of fun and he was just having a good time.  When asked if he likes Amy he said he did at one point but has now come around.  This is a far cry from when he said he wanted to date her outside the house.  Kerry he called his big sister and Paddy was his best mate.  He learnt in the house that you shouldn’t follow the crowd and I couldn’t help but think that he is 19 and still giving into peer pressure.  He wants Paddy to win.

The next person to be evicted is Amy!  I kinda saw this coming.  No matter how popular she is she was never going to win.  I think she was quite upset about this.  I don’t think she would have stopped to say goodbye if Kerry hadn’t made a big fuss.  I have a feeling that Kerry or Paddy is going to win which is ridiculous since Kerry was annoying as hell and Paddy didn’t do anything.

She was asked if she fancied Lucien.  She of course said no.  Why would she change her mind now that she is out of the house?  She always said it was a bit of fun.  That’s really all I got out of that interview because Amy bores me.

Now in 3^rd place is Jedward!  Alright so I wanted them to win but I had little hope that they would.  This just cements in my mind that this could well have been a set up.  Everyone was all for Jedward to win but they don’t.  Some people seemed to boo them when they came out which is odd since it was all cheers earlier.  Does the crowd get prompts or something?

Brian is a bit concerned about the noise level when doing this interview.  Jedward say they are happy to have got this far.  They also only had 2 suitcases each but air packed their clothes.  The jackets they were wearing were signed by Paul McCartney!  I would never actually wear that jacket.  They think the reason why they never got a single nomination is that everyone in the house loved them.  They also could never have done this without each other.  They were asked which girl they fancied and Edward said John like Amy and Tara Reid.  They don’t say who they want to win which in my mind says that they want neither to win.

We now have the final two.  I sort of want Paddy to win just because it’s the less of two evils really.  At this point Kerry seems very calm and confident that she is going to win.  Did she know something we didn’t?  

The winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2011 is Paddy!

Kerry now had to exit the house and she was making these weird ooh ooh noises.  I don’t know if she is trying to laugh, cry or shout.  She doesn’t seem to be coping with the crowd too well.  If she was a celeb this would be a piece of cake for her.  Again she says it was for the kids.  Come off it already!  She seems really focused for someone who is emotional but then that may just be me.  She said that Lucien is like a little brother.  I hope she doesn’t treat her little brother like that because that would be border line incest.  

Now Paddy get’s to come out of the house.  He is so excited about winning this it’s actually quite ridiculous.  I couldn’t help but notice that the music was a bit off last night.  Anyway I would like to tell you what Paddy said in his interview but his accent became worse because of his excitement.  I did get that Paddy thought Jedward was going to win.  You’re not the only one Paddy.

We now got a bit of a spoiler for the normal Big Brother that starts tonight.  Pamela Anderson is going to be in the house!  Now I don’t know if this means she will be a proper housemate or if she is just going to be there for the first day or for a bit.  I guess they want us to watch and find out.

So that’s the end of Celebrity Big Brother 2011 where the man that no-one understands won.

Celebrity Big Brother - The 3rd Live Eviction

So tonight was the 3^rd eviction on Celebrity Big Brother 2011.  Up for eviction were Bobby, Darryn, Lucien and Tara.  They got there because Pamela did not choose to give them immunity.  I personally was hoping that either Darryn or Lucien was going to go.  Unfortunately we don’t vote to evict but to save which is really stupid.

Anyway the show started with a recap of everything that happened in the last week.  Some of the things that stood out for me that they just had to bring up was the whole Kerry/Lucien romance.  I personally think it’s a bit of a show, particularly on Lucien’s part.  He never showed any interest in Kerry until a few days ago.  I think Channel 5 is pushing the romance thing to get those two in the limelight and get them more publicity.  Guess we know who the channel wants to win.

We then go a perfect Jedward moment.  The hot water had been turned back on after being off as punishment.  Jedward were in the diary room saying that you don’t understand how important hot water is until you don’t have it.  Then came the saying of the night for me.  John says: Cold water is just so cold.

We then got a recap of the task yesterday which was a shopping thing.  Darryn was disqualified in the first round and was being such a baby about it.  I saw his arms droop, everyone saw his arms droop!

It was then video time where all the potential evictees get to tell us why they should stay.  Let’s see what they said:

Bobby was first on and he said the he has come full circle and started on the back foot.  To me this means that he is now on the back foot again but anyway.  He also said that he is enjoying himself and is putting effort in.

Darryn was his usual annoying self and decided to use props.  He first thanked everyone (wanting to get brownie points much?) then shows a stuffed heart (from the bottom of his heart), at this point I booed at my TV.  

Lucien was next just saying that he was having a whirlwind experience and he doesn’t want it to end.  Why should we vote for him?  He didn’t really give a reason other than he was having an experience.

Tara said she wants to go all the way to the end.  A very in it to win it sort of thing going on here.  She also said that she’s having fun and wants us to go with her to the end so vote for her!  

Anyway we then went back to yesterday’s action and see that Lucien is admiring Amy.  So much for a Kerry/Lucien romance.  Darryn was also in the diary room complaining about being eliminated.  Is Channel 5 trying to make us hate him?  If they are then they are doing it really well.  After this Lines were closed!

Brian then said all the potential evictees names and the crowd doesn’t seem to know who they like and don’t.  They made these weird booing cheering noises.

We then got to see Jedward do their shopping task and it was hilarious.  I never thought 5 minutes of shopping could be so captivating.

Now it’s time for the eviction!  Finally!  So Brian will now tell us 2 housemates that are safe.  The first safe housemate is Darryn!  The next one is Lucien!  What is the world coming to?

So the housemate who was evicted was Tara!

This is just so wrong.  Anyway there was no twist like with Pamela and I wish there had been.  Tara would have been so much better for that.  Anyway during her interview Tara made Brian run away by stating that they (the channel) gets to choose what they show and can sway things.  I totally agree with you Tara.  Bring back the live feed!

So now with a ridiculous number of housemates still in we are voting for who we want to win.  Seriously they have 7 housemates still in there.  This is looking more and more like a money making ploy from Channel 5.

By the way I hate the crowd outside the house.  They boo Tara while she’s in the house but are all supportive when she is out.  Are they getting prompts or something? 

Celebrity Big Brother - View on the housemates

So we are over a week in and I feel that’s enough time to get a feel for the housemates.  Now I know this is a bit late considering we already had an eviction but I haven’t had any other time to do this.  So here we have my reaction to the housemates so far in alphabetical order.

Amy Childs

Okay so when Amy first went into the house I said she seems to be as stupid as I thought.  Well that feeling hasn’t really gone away only now I can add annoying to stupid.  Firstly she is stupid no matter what people say because hello, she thinks Sally Bercow owns the House of Commons with her husband.  She then started to annoy me with constantly calling everyone honey.  It really annoys me that.  She annoys me even more by the fact that she was surprised and annoyed that she was chosen as the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz task.  Okay so that’s not what annoyed me.  What annoyed me was that she became upset and then went into the diary room and said she didn’t really understand what was going on.  Heaven help me and save me from Amy Childs!

Bobby Sabel

Bobby was a bit like dry toast for me when he first went in.  I honestly wasn’t surprised that he was up for eviction in the first week.  Now I’m getting to like him.  He seems to have come out of his shell and shows that he is more than a good looking model.  I love that everyone in the house annoys him and he tells that to Big Brother.  Now everyone and the grandmother seem to have a problem with Bobby and the whole sweat gate thing but I think they are blowing it out of proportions.  Okay I have to say that I would be really be upset if I was having the lemonade/sweat thing in my mouth but the fact is that it wasn’t me and it’s funny because it happened to someone else.  Plus Bobby did own up to it so there.  

Darryn Lyons

When Darryn first went into the house I had no clue who he was and I kind of wish I still didn’t.  He is quite annoying and him shirtless freaks me out.  The whole abs and fat thing is so not cool.  It really looks stupid.  I also don’t like the fact that he takes over everything and he’s mean to Jedward. I mean he calls them dipsy and dopsy, what is that about?  He also has no sense of humour that I can tell.  I would actually prefer that he left in the next eviction.

Jedward

I was actually looking forward to seeing Jedward in the Big Brother house.  I mean they were ADD on X Factor what are they going to do confined to a house with older people?  I can now say that they have not disappointed me but I’m starting to like Edward more than John.  Jedward are basically the main reason I’m watching the how because the others are generally rather boring.  I love all the weird things they get up to.  Everyone said that they should be separated but I think it’s cute that they do everything together.  The separation task that they had was okay but mainly because they were being shocked.  I think I may have a sadistic streak.

Kerry Katona

At first I liked Kerry then I felt sorry for her when she had to do the diva task but now she annoys me because it really seems like she is playing to the cameras.  Now I know that there is a certain amount that everyone plays to the camera but she’s just on a whole different plane.  Her voice is even starting to annoy me because it seems to become whinier every time I hear it.  She’s also a bit two faced as she’s nice to everyone and then says things about them to other people.

Lucien Laviscount

So Lucien was a non-entity when he went into the house and he kind of still is.  He seems to have latched onto Bobby and did some pranks with him but I don’t know if they were his idea or Bobby’s.  He seems to be rather awkward around certain people and he seems to go from hot to cold to hot with the girls.  He really is flying under the radar and I’m still not sure about him.

Paddy Doherty

When Paddy went into the house I had very little to say because I didn’t understand what he was saying at all.  To be honest I still don’t understand him much of the time.  The thing is he is growing on me, kind of like a fungus.  He seems to be rather laid back and he puts up with all the things Jedward do.  I’m really starting to like him because he’s probably the housemate that you can relate to the most.  He’s really quite normal.

Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff

Pamela went in and I was do not want.  I still don’t want her but I can’t help but feel sorry for her.  The other housemates are so mean to her for no reason at all.  The one day Darryn was being mean to her because she cooked chicken in salad dressing.  Have you read what’s in that dressing?  The same stuff you use to cook chicken in.  Seriously what is their problem with her?  Kerry also seems to have a problem with her and I think it’s only Paddy and Jedward that don’t.

Sally Bercow

Poor Sally was the first housemate to be evicted.  I had a feeling that she would be because hello she’s the House of Commons speakers’ wife.  At first I thought she was going to be quite good for the house but she didn’t really live up to what I was expecting.  She had a good friendship with Paddy but that was about it.  I can’t honestly say that anything she did stands out for me.

Tara Reid

Oh Tara Reid.  At first I thought OMG it’s Tara Reid then I thought she’s obviously missing home and then I thought WTF.  She seems to have a major problem with Darryn, not that I blame her, but now she has something against Pamela.  She’s seems to be getting on well with Jedward and was able to tell them apart for their separation task.  Other than that I’m feeling a little blah about her.

So that’s what I think about all of the housemates so far.  Not very well apparently.  Anyway you can catch the housemates every day on Channel 5 at 9 or 10 depending on the day.

Celebrity Big Brother - Live Launch Recap

So last night was the life launch of Celebrity Big Brother!  I was so excited I was practically vibrating.  I had read all the rumours about who was going to be in the house and couldn’t wait.  First though we had to meet the new host.  

Yes sad as it is Davina is no longer doing Big Brother.  Instead we have Brian Dowling who was a housemate and winner of Big Brother himself.  So, first thoughts on him were that he’s not excited enough.  I think it may have been nerves because he got into it more as the show went on.  Now enough about him it’s time for the housemates and what we think about them!

The first house mate going in was Kerry Katona!  I have to say that she is looking better than last time I say her in a magazine but I got the feeling that she wasn’t very comfortable in those heels of hers.  Seriously could she walk at all?  I have to say I was a bit worried when she got into the house because she was doing some serious heavy breathing.

Next into the house was Tara Reid!  Okay so I honestly didn’t think she was really going to go in there.  I mean she’s Tara Reid!  Does she really need the money or something?  I have to say she looked hot going in but poor Brian didn’t get his hug.  It was so clear that she had a hard time either hearing or understanding Brian.  It wasn’t as funny as when she got into the house and had no clue what Kerry was saying.  She couldn’t even get her name.

Next into the house was Paddy Doherty!  Okay so obviously I’m out of the loop as I have no idea who he is.  Also I have no idea what he is saying.  The presenter said that he wants the girls to fight so he can laugh.  Okay I totally get why he would want that because that’s kind of what I want as well.  I have a feeling Tara is going to have no clue what he’s saying.  I was wrong Tara seems to understand him at least a little.

Next in is Amy Childs!  So the Essex girl is really in there.  I am a little shocked by how much of an idiot she really seems to be.  I was hoping that was an act.  I hate it when people use double negatives like she does.  Seriously not giving nothing away?  That means you’re giving something away!  When she went into the house I couldn’t help but this that Tara has become a little tipsy.

So next in is Daryn Lyons!  I have no clue who he is and I’m not really caring.  I found it funny that the crowd seems to have no idea who he is either.  Okay so he’s hoping to find someone in the house that will stimulate him mentally?  I thought he know what these celebrities were like.  I have yet to see a philosophical discussion on CBB.  He took entirely too long to get into the house.  Amy annoyed me with the constant I love your hair.  He heard you the first time.

Next was Sally Bercow!  So the House of Commons speaker’s wife is in the house.  Does she really count as a celeb?  Anyway I have a feeling I’m going to like her.  She’s all down with the establishment and I can relate.  I like that she didn’t really tell her husband but you have to wonder if that’s true.  I like that she wants to stir things up you need a person like that in the house.  

Next up was Lucien Laviscount!  He seems nice if a little shy.  I can’t believe his mom packed his suitcase.  That is so cute and so something you don’t tell the nation.  It was funny that the doors didn’t open for a while for him.  I felt a bit sorry for him because no one in the house knew who he was.

Next was Pamela Bach-Hasselhof!  When they first said Baywatch babe I thought Pamela Anderson.  Obviously the wrong Pamela.  When I saw her video all I could think was do not want!  She also couldn’t walk in her shoes.  I loved Brian with her because she was touching him and he was like OMG get off me.  I can’t figure out if she is drunk or high or both.  When she got into the house no one knew who she was.

The second last housemate to go in was Bobby Sable! At this point I was like no Jedward?  Anyway I’m not sure about Bobby.  While he is pretty I’m not that fond of models.  Although I have to say that when you compare how he talks to some of the others he is ridiculously posh.

The last housemate into the house was JEDWARD!  I love these guys!  I think it’s going to be really good with them in the house.  I mean, they are so ADD.  I think that it is adorable that you can’t have one without the other.  When they got into the house it was priceless.  They did not stop talking.  I don’t even know if they were making sense or just saying random words.  They know who Tara Reid is and they were all like OMG its Tara Reid.  I swear that one of them was rubbing Tara’s arm in that I can’t believe you are real sort of way.

We then found out that the housemates were getting their first task.  I thought it was a bit soon but hey who am I to judge?  So the housemates didn’t know who to send to the diary room so Kerry went.  The task is to act like a celebrity diva and complete three challenges.  The first challenge had to be done last night and it was to throw a diva tantrum.  Today they will be voting for the biggest diva in the house and it has to be her or she will be punished!

I can’t wait for more!  I’m so going to vote to keep Jedward in!
